Conference

Conference was great today. Do you ever feel like the things that are said are directed specifically at you? I do. It was a good day today.
Russ and I met with our Stake President the other night. Russ was a little nervous because our Bishop just moved and we have not gotten a new one yet. The SP said he was not there to extend a call, but to get to know some of the men in our ward a little better so that inspiration could come as to who our next bishop should be. We talked about our individual lives growing up and then about our courtship and then a little about life now. It was so neat to be there. I got to hear some things from Russ that I had not heard before and even some things that he said about me that I had not heard. I just really felt grateful for that interview. Even if the only thing that comes out of it was that we got to talk to the SP, I got a lot from it. I realized how much I love my husband and what a great man he is. I am overwhelmed by the blessings in my life. Whenever I feel saddened by the things that I feel are missing in my life, I am reminded of what I DO have, and how much I am blessed. How grateful I am for that.

I started knitting some things...which I won't divulge quite yet, seeing as they are for some people that may read this, but they are cute and I enjoy it.
