Overcame infertility and started playing catch up. Our "sprouts" were a little late in springing, but now they are shooting up fast. This is us!

Escargot
So, I went to Orlando last night with a bunch of my coworkers for the Annual FL. Kindergarten Council Convention. We go the night before and then the convention is on Sat. So, we all walked to this place to eat and it was a nice Italian restaurant. My friend Anita asked if I wanted to try some escargot. So I thought, sure. She had never had it either and so we both tried it. Let me tell you, it did not taste horrible. The texture was much different than I expected. I thought it would be chewy and gummy, but it wasn't. It was different. I don't know how to describe it. The only thing that freaked me out a bit was to see a tiny neck and tiny head dangling down...you could even see the eyes that stick up normally. They were tiny, but the thought was still a little disturbing. They didn't serve them in the shell, there were just a bunch in small dish with some crusty bread. I did eat a few...and that was good. I don't know if I will ever eat it again but I can now say that I have eaten escargot!

You never update your blog :(
Yeah, I love eating stuff that does not taste terrible. I prefer stuff that tastes good, but not terrible works too.
