By request, here are some pictures of the blankets that I finished. I cut them all out a while ago and then sewed them together last week. I finally did the binding today on all three of them.
and like I said in my "finally" blog, I am excited to make one for my own baby.
The other news in our house is that Russ brought home a new pet for our fish tank. While talking on the phone with our sweet red headed niece, Janie, we had her give the crab a name. She came up with Riley. Riley the Red-Clawed Crab!
Look how cute! (in a squirrely-eyed kinda way) He has also found a home inside the log!

A) you are HAVING A BABY!!!! for pete's sake. i guess i will confess that a little bird told me a month ago (a bird named mim) and i was holding my breath for you!! i'm sooooooo excited for you. i know you've wanted this for a long time and you're going to be such an incredible mom.
