Longer = Catholic christening. We like the second one because it's less "circley" and baby legs are cute especially if there are some baby booties at the end of those baby legs.
I say dress #2...it has such a nice look to it. I can just imagine it on your precious little girl. It is simple, yet gorgeous. It is all up to you, but I really do like the second one the best.
I would say #2. It is Florida for heavens sake. You don't want her sweating to death. JK. I do like number two though. Like Kathy said, booties at the end to match the dress. She will look adorable in either but cute in the short one. Like a fifties dress.
Becca, I have been looking at the dresses some more and I take it back. I actually would choose the first one. It is really elegant, but not too much. The details around the arms are so pretty and I just like the overall look. So my choice is dress #1!
Oh my goodness, Becca! I totally remember you! So glad that you tracked me down and said hello. Ricks was a long time ago, those are fond memories. Your new daughter is absolutely beautiful, congratulations! I agree with Jetta, the second dress is beautiful, I love smocking too. (It is one of the projects that I want to conquer before I die!) Thanks again for saying hello, it's always fun to hear from old friends! Love your blog!
Hey! Bet you didn't even know I look at your blog! (I sneak through Spring's blog to get to yours!) I choose the Strausberg dress~~~why? Because it's a Strausberg which is VERY expensive, not something you'd be buying every day, AND because it's hand smocked which is also not common in everyday dresses~~ more in heirloom dresses which is what a blessing dress becomes, right? The other dress although pretty, looks like one that I could make in a day~~~not so w/ the smocked one! Have fun choosing! That's the best part right, getting to choose?! xo
I have to say I like number one the best. I like the detail and it looks more classic to me. I am finally getting to all this stuff cause I can finally sit down again!

The longer one. Because I like the length. They're both very pretty.
I like the length of the first one too but the second one is classic and more refined looking..does that make sense? you can't go wrong here..

#2!!! Love the smocking-- I'm a sucker for smocking.

Love both of the dresses, but the second one looks so original. I choose #2.
I love both but I think I would go with #2! But you can't go wrong.
I agree with Kathy and Nancy. But I would bring them both in case there is an explosion.

i like 1 because of the length...
I like dress #2, it is beautiful, as they both are, but I just like #2 the best. But it's your little girl, not mine! Have fun deciding.
Number 1 for sure. It is very classic but also more different than any other I have seen.
i say #2 because it's shiny with the beads and simple and it will also show some leg! woo!
