My darling friend GEIDY (pronounced Hay-dee) came over today and we did some sling sewing. She is going to do a tutorial on her blog later today...when she does I will link y'all to it.
We used a pattern found here.
(I really love this site. Jan Andrea at Sleeping Baby has great patterns, directions, FAQs, and helpful hints about fabrics and things. I love the sling I made for myself from her directions. I am planning on making another one for me and one for my sister too. I am going to try the Mei Tai style as well.)
Anyhow, it was fun to have Geidy here. We talked about our love of books, music, blogs, the fun projects we are working on and the pleats (oh, they are lovely pleats.)

Good thing we have blogs so you can keep my non-nerdy self in check.
