This is a somewhat random post.
It is just about what is going on around these parts lately.
First off are our garage sale finds. On Saturday we were dropping Eve off with Aunt Diane so that Russ and I could go house hunting. Across the street we saw a garage sale and caught a glimpse of a car seat, of which we were in need of, and so we headed over to take a look.
Here is what we found.

First off, we have the Evenflo Triumph. Triumph is what we did. I asked the guy how much it was and he said to make an offer. But, before I did, he and his wife were telling us all about it and showing us the features and whatnot. I had recently done some searching on Craigslist and Ebay and thought I might say 20 or 30 dollars for it. However, as the guy was showing it to us you could visably see some dirty spots on it and so before we even made an offer he just said, "How about 8 dollars? Does that sound fair?" I thought, it sure does!! I mean, we did have to give it a good cleaning and when I say "we" I mean, Russ who took it apart and cleaned and sanitized the entire thing. So, we scored a sweet carseat for 8 bucks.
Then, I saw this...
Then, I saw this...
I went and asked the lady how much for it.
Lady: 15 Dollars.
Me: How about 10? Will you take 10 for it?
Lady: 12?
Me: Deal.
Nothing like a good negotiation at a garage sale. I mean, we don't go garage sale-ing very much and I didn't realize I had it in me to bargain like that. It was pretty awesome.
Now if only buying a house were so easy.
In other randomness,

She loves crawling through the coffee table and getting under it...
but sometimes she gets in and doesn't know how to get out and she gets a bit frustrated.
And then I have to help her.

Did I mention that she is now getting her second tooth?
I don't even know if I told you about her first tooth.
Either way, she has two bottom teeth growing in.
So, there you have it.

What a cutie! I used to crawl under coffee tables. My mom said if she ever lost me she just had to look under one of the 3 tables in the living room. So many fun times are ahead of you! Oh, and good job on your booty at the garage sale!
You get that bargaining from Grandma Neilson. "You want a dollar for that, how about a nickle?" Oh we all have some of her in us. Love you.
You ARE your grandma's granddaughter!!! We LOVE garage sales out our way! I just scored a Bombay Comapany black desk and a sewing table last Saturday, and 2 weeks before that I got a bar height square table with 8 chairs!!! Whoo hoo!!!
Hope you find a cute home~~~in this market it shouldn't be hard to do! (Try craigslist.com) Where are you planning on moving to?
xo
Aunt Robin
What a steal!!! I LOVE the shelf, like I LOVE LOVE it, like you could give it to me for Christmas! HA ha, sound familiar? But I really do love it.
great job! That blue hutch thing is ADORABLE!!!!
She is so cute! Aren't they just into EVERYTHING now? Thanks for stopping by MY blog too :) My family and my husbands family all live in Portland. It makes for some hectic visits, especially now that we have Joseph! We are in Boise because of my husbands job. It's hard to be far away from family sometimes, but also sometimes it is nice to be on our own and be our own unit too...you know? Feel free to move on over to Idaho, but I am afraid switching to Florida would be moving in the OPPOSITE direction for us! :) Congrats on the cutie pie.
