There are lots of things going on today and in this post. Some of which have pictures to document them and others well, they don't have pictures.
*I went to the doctor for a followup to my surgery and things look really good.
*Eve came home!! (She has been bunking at Nana and Papa's house while I was out of commission.) Nana and Papa dropped her off at home after I came back from my appointment.
*I can OFFICIALLY hold Eve! What a happy day! (don't tell the doc that I cheated a couple times at Nana and Papa's house.)
*I cleaned, vacuumed, tried to make a dent in this laundry pile, unloaded the dishwasher, loaded the dishwasher and hand washed some other dishes and made dinner.
*Eve has started to cut her first tooth! That actually happened on the 10th...her 7 month birthday.
*Eve also has a cold...poor baby. I have a sore throat...poor mama.

Here is an update on my HERB GARDEN!

Here is an update on my HERB GARDEN!
Cilantro, handsome Cilantro. This is the second planting after the first one dried up and died. It sprouts up fast and hopefully I won't let this one die.
Chives, skinny Chives. I am patiently waiting for these long skinny guys to bulk up and start to stand taller. They grew long very quickly but obviously lacked the strength to stand up.
Basil, sweet Basil. Sometimes I like to say Baa-zil, as if I had an English accent (think Jamie Oliver from the Food Network.) My sweet Baa-zil is getting along swimmingly. He is by far the tallest and the most fruitful at the moment.
And now sadly, I must report on poor little Rosemary. She has failed to sprout and this is the second planting! I am beginning to think that she never will. That saddens my heart.
(I will just have to stick to the dried Rosemary I got at Target in the cute little jar.)

She is getting so big! I can't wait to see her in person. I'm going to be home this Christmas so let's be sure to get together. I love the plants, you just can't beat fresh herbs

I'm glad things are getting back to normal! And to have Eve home!! Yeah! It looks like you have a lot of catching up to do which is no fun but now you have Eve to keep you company and to keep you from actually getting things done! Love Ya
I am glad you are feeling better after your surgery. Isn't it amazing how quickly things pile up when mama's not home to take care of the house. That is also great that your herbs are growing well. That will be nice to have those for cooking. Wow. Eve has her first tooth! How fun.
I'm SOOO glad you're doing better. I can't imagine the torture to be away from darling Eve for so long. I hope you keep stronger every day.
I love the BabyLegs (so easy to make, by the way) and your 'erbs look fabulous, dahling!
