My Life As of Late

As you can tell, most of my posts are long. With lots of pictures. Those of you who know me, know that I often have a lot to say. For the sake of time though, I will keep the words few and the pictures many. I will also try to do this in chronological order.

First off, we started packing up our stuff to move a couple weeks ahead of time.
Our apartment was a wreck for a while...

Then, our ward was in charge of the decorations for the youth Homecoming dance.
I got all the decorations and then a few people came to help set up. I used M&Ms in little bags to weigh down the helium balloons around the room. That way, the kids would take the bags of candy along with the balloons as little favors.

Ahead of time, I put together these little topiaries. Russ helped to decide how to tie the ribbon though.

Cute!

Then, on that same day, we went to a wedding reception.

I took a new profile pic in the car on the way there.
We saw the tent from far away...it was like the Taj Mahal of wedding tents.
We then took the opportunity for a cute family pic at the beach.
Then we witnessed the ring ceremony for the lovely couple.
Seriously, that bride's dress was by far the most unique and elegant and gorgeous dress I have ever seen.
Picture with the Suze.

Picture of me and my bundled baby.

Then, we went home and I headed back to the church for the rest of the dance. I had cleanup duty after it was over.
Picture with one of my favorite girls.
Picture of some other favorites.
Then, skip ahead a few days....days when our camera was in the bag that had all the decorating stuff in it that was in a closet at the church.
But, to fill you in...
We packed some more.
The Robinsons watched Eve...A LOT! (thanks!)
We got the keys to our new place (which is in the same zip code as our old place. It is a two story townhome, for those who care to know.)
We borrowed our friend's suburban and started to move stuff over on Thanksgiving morning.
We went to the Robinson's for Thanksgiving dinner. I normally do a large part of the cooking, which I love to do, but this year due to our moving and such, my wonderful Mother-in-law and Father-in-law did the cooking.
(Thanks for that mom and dad.)
Friday morning I went with Diane to do some Black Friday shopping. That is the first time I have ever done that...and probably the last time. The only thing I needed was...well, you don't want to know, but the point is, the store where I have bought this item before no longer carries it. I then tried a few of this item on at another place and couldn't find a good one. Ugh!
But, I did end up getting a cute brown courduroy jumper for Eve.
We moved on Saturday morning.
Then we worked our knuckles to the bone cleaning out the old place. Not kidding...it was like 8+ hours.
Here are the after pictures.

Spic and span.
As for now, I have no new pictures of our new home yet.
However, I will take some soon and put them up. I believe this post is long enough for now.
Good day.
