I love that we are secret twins. Also, my roommate is the one going to Scotland. I am very sad. I wanted to go, but she didn't think the mission president would be cool with it.
The party banner was really easy. I just cut diamonds and folded them in half. (so that the right side would show on either side of the banner) Or i just cut triangles and put them together. I didn't do anything to the edges. I probably should've used pinking shears but I borrowed my friend's rotary cutter instead which cut down on time. Then I just sewed a lot of them in a long line. I also could've put bias tape across the top, but didn't want to bother.
