Done!!

Well, not completely done. I just have to make the comforter and get a pillow and pillowcase for the bedding set.
But, all the CUTE stuff is done!
Here are the 2 turquoise/blue pillows I made.

the bed, in progress and me manning the staple gun.

The final product!
Keep in mind, her room is currently pink and yellow. I am taking down the crib and her crib bedding that is pink/yellow. I wanted to introduce some more color into the room, so I brought in the blues. Hopefully it will all look good together. The comforter is going to be white.
I was thinking about myself as I was making the pillows and looking at my fabric choices. Thinking about what I am like when I go to the fabric store. I picked out a ton of fabric, none that is matching. Just similar. I picked them because I liked them all and then hoped that the ideas in my head would turn out good. I likened it to the complexity of me. Sounds crazy, but just as my taste in music is completely mixed and my food tastes are varied. And how I love blue jeans, but love sweats and pjs too, but also like to get gussied up sometimes, and how I don't have one particular decorating style, I pick fabric the same way. But all the times I have done that in the past, things seem to work out fine. Just like I think I am fine. Even with my craziness.

And I think Eve's room is going to be fine too.

It'll be so nice. Is it a crib mattress size or twin size? Make sure and post pics of it in her room once it is completely done. I'm gonna call you soon. Love ya.

I think it will be just fine too...what an UNDERSTATEMENT!!! It is totally adorable. You are such an inspiration. I hope that one day, once Eric is done with school and we are really "settling" down, that I will do cool crafts and have "themed" or color-coordinated rooms for my kids. I love you Becs, despite your crazy tastes and you just being a little crazy!!
