some sewing

Here are some things I have been working on lately. Lots of baby showers coming up, not to mention the little man that we are having in August!
So some of these things are for us and some are for other people. But I am not telling who...
The vest was my own design. I have seen the ties several places online and just made up my own pattern. Same with the electric guitar. For the robot, I just looked for an image of a robot online and then ended up tweaking it to my liking.
I first saw this ball on my friend's blog.
It is from Anna Maria Horner's book Seams to Me.
I borrowed it from the library and this is my first attempt at one of the projects in it.
I really love this little vest! I need to sew buttons and button holes on it still, but I can't wait for our baby to wear it.

Those are soooo cute! I have thought about making a ball like Anna Maria's a few times but chicken out every time. How hard was it?

I love that little ball too! You might have to teach me how to make one of those for John. Those onesies are so cute especially the robot and little vest!

Those are sooo cute!! Reid says he wants one of those balls, so rather than have a fight I guess you need to make three more for me!! :) (In all your spare time!!) I guess that is a boy something that I could make for craft fairs, since everything so far that I have sold is all girl. I LOVE the onsies too!

Oh no!! I was totally going to make that ball for you as a baby-boy-welcoming present! Guess I'll have to think of something else!:) Everything is so cute, Becca.
