So, I had a baby a week ago.
Russ took 3 days off and then went to work on Friday. My mom got here on Friday. Then it was the weekend.
And then, my mom had to leave. This morning, at 4am actually. We said goodbye last night and I may have cried...but only a tiny bit. It's just that her visit was really only 3 1/2 days. Much too short! When the baby woke at 4 this morning I fed him a bit and then came downstairs to make sure my mom had woken up, but she was already gone...
And now, I am here. My first day alone as the mother of two.

Good luck! That's where I was a week ago. It has involved a lot of TV.
I couldn't wait to get that first day over with because I just had to know what it was going to be like, and whether or not I could hack it. It was fine, and so will you be! You were born to have two little kids sucking and crawling all over you. You'll be incredibly good at it, probably.

Life gets a little crazy, but you will do great Becca! You are an amazing mother and I know you are going to continue to be with two!
You'll do fine. I cry like a baby whenever mom leaves. It doesn't matter how long she has been visiting. Love you guys. Give the kids love for me.
I am just catching up with your blog and birth! Congratulations on a wonderful birth. That sounded so perfect and he is sooooooooo scrumptious.
I know you'll do great!! At least babies sleep a lot, right? If you find any great activities for a toddler to do while you recover, let me know, lol! That's been the hardest part for me so far. Congrats, again!
