So, I painted a wall in our living room. It is bright and bold. but I love it.
This first picture is of the paint swatches and you can see what the wall looked like before. The colors on the wall are used throughout the rest of the house and looked fine, but I thought a change would be nice and I wanted to make it more our space.
I was so excited and nervous to paint. In all the years we have never painted any place we have lived, so when the owners of the house said we could paint I looked forward to doing it!!
I already knew what I wanted to do with the wall. I wanted to hang our family silhouettes up. I just had to decide on a color. I was gonna keep it a semi-neutral shade of green. But then I decided to just go for something totally different! AHHHH!
After we painted, I updated our silhouettes and hung them above the fireplace.
I scored this gray armchair at an estate sale for 20 bucks!! It's perfect! I also grabbed the pillows I originally made for Eve's bed (that now have a permanent home on her floor) and put them in the living room. One of which is on the armchair.
I love the way it turned out! I'd eventually like to get an armoir for our tv and stereo, but now I think it looks pretty good.
