(l-r) Theresa Herman, Ronald Neilson (my dad), Bud Neilson, Rod Neilson, Royce Neilson, Verna Shaw and Grandpa Vern Neilson.
The thing about funerals is, that they bring people together. I know that it is a sad thing to have happen, but what a great chance to get together with family and loved ones. Here is my new little niece, Ericka Woolley. Sarah and Eric's little baby. It just goes to show the progression of life. The passing of Grama Neilson and the birth of this little baby. (Hy's wife had her baby early that morning 1/27 in Idaho by the way.)
It just reminds us that our earthly life is but a small portion of our entire existence. We know that we will see loved ones that have passed on again. And we are reminded of the renewal of life thru birth. I am so grateful for my family and for Grama Neilson and for precious little ones like Ericka. Life is truly a blessing. How fortunate we are to be alive and to be here with the ones we love. May we always cherish the moments we have together.
