So, there I was sitting in the "A" line for Southwest airlines. (To know more about that go to mysuperexcitinglife.blogspot.com) I was eating a very healthy breakfast at about 10:31 of a wendy's burger and fries. I missed the breakfast by like 1 minute. Anyhow, along came these birds...they look like some kind of finch. The people who were sitting in the chairs threw some croutons at them and they pecked a little bit, but I don't think they like garlic, so they didn't eat them. The point is, you can obviously see how close they were to my feet in the following picture. It was pretty amazing. I guess you could call me like a bird lady or something. I had a run in with a pelican once...if you look into my blog history, you will see the pic to prove it.
The one on the right is totally looking at me. He knows I am taking his picture. He is probably used to it. I bet that he and his kronies have a whole system down. They live the perfect life. See, the Phoenix airport, at least the wing I was in was huge. It had really tall ceilings with windows all around. There was tons of flying space for these little birds, plus, people feed them and so they stick around. The temperature is always perfect and they never have to weather a cold front or anything. The only thing they have to worry about is getting there picture taken every once in a while.
Here are some oranges fresh from my grandpa's tree in California. The best oranges ever. I brought some home and took them to work to share with my friends.
